Why shortcuts fall short

People are continuously looking for a shortcut to lose weight.

There is no way around the fact that you have to make better nutrition choices and do more regular physical activity to burn calories if you want to lose weight.

This is why diets and meal plans don’t work well for people long term.

They are hard to follow because, well, we are human and have a life! Even if you follow a diet or plan for a while, chances are it is not sustainable long term.

Unless you plan to never get busy, always be prepared, pass up birthday party and dinner invites, skip holidays, and stick to a schedule all day every day – LIFE will get in the way of your “perfect” meal plan.

Sustainability = Success

Shortcuts = Shortcomings

It is actually fairly easy to reach a goal. The challenge is it takes a lot longer than we want to get there.

Lasting success takes consistency and TIME.

You have to put in the good hard work day in and day out – even if it doesn’t always look pretty.
