“THIS IS S**T”…

I pride myself on being a very upbeat and positive person most of the time…

But…this weekend I reached a low point…
***


I felt truly fed up with this whole situation…
***


Now with this situation in mind, I know a much younger self would of gone into self-sabotage mode..
***


The difference now a days, is that I recognise the very moment my mind starts to turn…
***


So what’s changed?
***


Well, I guess I’ve got a little older and somewhat wiser…
***


But, for the most part I have developed a better understanding of myself…
***


I’ve become more self aware, mindful if you like…
***


I’ve also taught myself to acknowledge such thoughts…
***


But more importantly I’ve learnt to act on them in a positive way…something a younger self wouldn’t of done…
***


It’s all to easy to let things slide…
***


It’s all to easy to dwell in self pity…and that’s ok!
***


But, sometimes you just need to stop, catch yourself, acknowledge those thoughts and act on them in a positive way…
***


There’s only one person in control of your mind, that’s you…
***


You can turn things around…
***


If there’s anything to take from this, just remember that there is so much for you to be grateful for…
***
