The past 4 months I've spent training with Chris have been some of the hardest and yet most rewarding of my life. If you listen to Chris and follow his directions you can achieve whatever it is you set out to. The training sessions are group based which make it a fun and motivating experience. His knowledge of muscle mechanics is obvious from the outset and you'd never believe that the tiniest adjustments to your form can make such a difference. At 49 I'm now in the best shape of my life and I have Chris and the rest of the UHF members to thank, for pushing me to be the best version of myself and never giving up! If you want to get in shape, do it quickly and do it right, then Chris is your man!
I have known Chris for 3 years now. He gets you very motivated to want to achieve your best. The small classes of people are very supportive of one another and although they are very focused there is still time for banter and laughter. Chris makes time to get to know the person as an individual making you feel part of the family rather than just a member. I wouldn't hestitate in recommending Chris.
Chris has unbelievably knowledgable about movement, the body, and nutrition. Without blowing your mind with science, he makes it fun and interesting but with the know-how within each workout that makes you feel your in very capable hands. If you want to be able to trust an expert, and not have to learn about every aspect of fitness and nutrition yourself first to achievement your goals, this is the right person for you as he will educate you as you progress, at the pace that's right for you and your body/ ability. Chris also had a great network within the industry meaning no physical (or mental) barriers are a challenge to him. I am recovering from a knee/ hip operation and he has tailored work outs, even within the group sessions, to my needs. Group sessions are great to push you, the classes are no more than 6, which means he can ensure he keeps an eye on your form and technique for each work out. 45mins to maximise whole body work out is exactly the formula I need, with Chris changing and altering sessions all the time. You won't ever get bored of the "same old stuff". If you want guidance on how to lift correctly, and take onboard years of industry knowledge on how to eat, to match our goals, and be catered for as an individual, but made to be felt part of a wider team ethic, UHF is for you.
It's only been a couple of months, but since Chris has started training me, it's opened my eyes to a whole new world of training styles and eating habits. He's got to be one of the nicest and most humble of guys you're ever likely to meet, But don't let that fool you into thinking you can coast through his sessions. His knowledge of diet, physiology and muscle mechanics is impressive to say the least. Every day is a school day. I've never worked so hard, with such determination, but that's just the effect Chris has on you. I wholly recommend his services, it's a game changer.
Been with Chris a while now 5 years. And he is good at his Job. Makes it fun with a run ha ha see what I did there. Anyway, I would 100% recommend ultimate health and fitness. Brilliant atmosphere! Chris is a fantastic trainer! Hard work but worth it! Would recommend to anyone wanting to start getting back into shape.
