DEKA is the decathlon of hybrid racing, designed to allow ALL levels the opportunity to celebrate the power of fitness.
There are three types of DEKA events:
DEKA Strong – no running, DEKA Mile – 160 m run between each zone and DEKA Fit – 500m run between zones.
Whilst DEKA Fit competitions are normally held at larger venues, DEKA Strong and DEKA Mile are held at gyms.
At Ultimate Health and Fitness we run classes for the purpose of training for DEKA Strong (although members can just attend the classes without entering the events). We also host DEKA Strong events.
We run DEKA Strong classes on Sundays at 8am and 9am.
The sessions are designed around the exercises and equipment used in the event.
